Scott Cane Fly Rods

Scott Fly Rods has been a longtime collaborator in the highest tradition of cane.  Partnering with acclaimed Japanese rod maker Naoki Hashimoto, Scott proudly introduces the finest bamboo fly rods it has ever offered.  Hashimoto flames the cane three times in the construction process, creating crisp recovery speed and a unique fast action for these rods.  In fact, we have never cast cane rods that feel so light, crisp and pleasant in the hand.  Three-piece construction optimizes the action and hollow blanks minimize weight.  Hashimoto makes the ferrules and ferrule plugs by hand.

SC rods feature gorgeous amboyna burl wood and blued nickel silver reel seats, Snake brand guides with agate inserts on the strippers, and grips made from the finest cork available.  In particular, the angler will appreciate the shape and finishing of the grip, a work of art in its own right.  Each SC fly rod is furnished with a pair of matched tip sections.
